Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge, Gangs of New York, Iris) revelou ao Dark Horizons que interpretará o papel de Horace Slughorn em Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, o penúltimo filme da saga de sete. Slughorn é um antigo professor de Poções da escola de Hogwarts e director da equipa de Slytherin desde 1980. “Who am I? He’s called Horace Slughorn. He’s a retired teacher of magic who’s drawn back out of retirement because he’s got some secrets they need in the battle against the Death Eaters and he’s quite star struck as a teacher and he’s drawn back into the fold because he likes to notch up celebrity students, and he’s drawn back by Harry.”
Jim Broadbent já carrega um Oscar pelo seu papel em Iris. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince começa a ser filmado esta segunda-feira para estrear a 21 de Novembro de 2008, sob a realização de David Yates.
